I️ am grateful that the day is over. It was a bit of a whirlwind, with too many twists and turns for my liking, but it’s nice in bed, where I️ am right now.
I️ am grateful for the sale of a painting. Love that!
I am grateful for time spent with Farley at his Beaver meeting. There was a paper airplane contest. It was fun.
I am grateful for time in the studio this morning.
I am grateful for a productive afternoon in the garagenous zone.
I am grateful for time spent making Farley laugh his butt off by joining him in his absurdity for a good long while.
I am grateful for a walk to school with my lads.
I am grateful for a fun day with my brother. We put up Christmas lights. We ate at Big Wheel Burger. We rented a movie and slept through it. The boys and I joined him at the airport for dinner. Doesn’t get much better than that.
I am grateful for my brother. I love hanging out with that guy. I grateful to him, also, for flying out to help me on a fun house project. We built a custom closet organizer for out front hall, which is going to have a domino effect in my house that will ultimately lead to more space in the kitchen, and a less cluttered home. That was a great day.
I am grateful for a big weekend breakfast I made at home this morning.
I am grateful for time in the gym and them the studio this afternoon.
I am grateful for a swim with friends tonight at the Panorama Recreation Centre pool in exotic North Saanich. It’s a run of the mill public pool, but it’s a longer drive and the kids really dig the waterslide there.
I am grateful for a day that started out making breakfast for Coop and 2 of his pals.
I am grateful for a quiet afternoon.
I am grateful for an action packed evening. We all went to a housewarming party, then We took the kids home, and Julie and I had a night out. First we had conversation and a coffee in a hip cafe (been to long since we’ve done that together), then we saw Lady Bird, which was a great show.
I am grateful that my kids have great friendships. Coop has 2 buddies over for a sleepover. All those guys want to do is hang out with each other and they’ve been buddies since kindergarten. As I write this, they are all nestled in the same bed. Farley is over at his friend’s place for a sleepover too, and while they go to different schools, they were in the same daycare for years.
I am grateful for time in the studio today, time in the garagenous zone, and time doing errands and eating lunch with Julie. I had it all!
I am grateful for a van full of material my brother and I plan on making into closet shelving next week. I am stoked.
I am grateful for Farley’s Beaver meeting.
I am grateful for time at the studio and the gym, while Julie put the kids down and took care of the home front. I needed that, and I have Julie to thank for it.
I am grateful for time in the studio.
I am grateful for soup that our chosen family magical Buddha nanny kid caregiver brought over tonight. She’s the best. It’s great to have someone like that in our kids lives, and ours, too.
I am grateful for date night. We saw Murder on the Orient Express. I’ve heard it’s been panned, but I liked it anyway.
I am grateful for a productive day.
I am grateful for a bit of time in the studio, even though it was cut too short.
I am grateful for time spent watching my kids laugh their butts off at some Facebook video about jumping goats I saved.
