Gratitude

I am grateful for time spent in the studio this morning.

I am grateful for an ambitious to-do list authored and crossed out this afternoon.

I am grateful for the Ed Emberly “Make a World” drawing book that I loved as a kid that my lads now also dig. Those jokers were on that thing for hours tonight.

I am grateful for time at the studio this morning.

I am grateful for evidence of good karma in this world. I found a wallet today, and after Julie invested some time and effort, we found it’s owner and made a plan to return it. Shortly after that, this same day, I received a call from someone who’d found a walkie talkie we’d lost. They found it on the other side of town from us, and when we lost it, we were on Sidney Spit, a small island accessible only by private boat or a small foot passenger ferry. Go figure!

I am grateful for Coop’s last Cub meeting. It’s a good crew of scouters we have, and it’s been a great experience to volunteer with them.

I am grateful for a big sale at Opus Art Supplies. I bought 9 canvases. That oughtta keep me busy for a while.

I am grateful for time spent with my bro in law and kids. It was family fun night: Farley’s pick. We biked to McDonald’s (aka Old McDonald’s). That kid knows how to party!

I am grateful for time spent chinwagging away into the night with my spouse and her brother. Good times!
