I am grateful for time spent scooting up and down the street with Farley on Scootzilla, the scooter I made from an old kids bike, parts from our defunct garage door opener, and other various bits of scrap I had lying around, with my underused mig welder. It came together successfully. Farl and I were on it at the same time. It’s got a wide turning radius, but it’s a smooth ride.
I am grateful for the weeding tool I bought as an impulse purchase at Costco the other day. I spent some time battling the many, many dandelions in the front yard today, and it was nice to have the right tool for the job, it was not too hard on my back, which weeding usually is.
I am grateful for a nap I managed to have this afternoon. I was hoping it would give me the energy I’d need to paint this evening, but here it is, 10pm, and alas, no. Still, that nap got me this far, and for that I am grateful.
I am grateful for good weather today. It rained most of the day yesterday, so it’s not yet something I can take for granted.
