I am grateful for a change in government. As you may have read in my previous post, I am not a fan of what used to be the Harper government. I am optimistic and hopeful for the government we’ve just elected.
I am grateful for my Dad. He volunteered for the candidate he supported and knocked on doors as a canvasser throughout the campaign. It turns out that his candidate won by a very slim margin. Slim enough that it made my father’s efforts that much more meaningful, and me that much more proud.
I am grateful for packages in the mail for my kids from both sets of grandparents. Farley got a bunch of stickers. That kid loves an arm full of stickers. One day, he’ll learn what a tattoo parlour is, and I’ll have to figure out how I feel about that.
