I am grateful for a cookout day at Goldtream park with the crowd Julie and I refer to as “the village”. Being outside, in some sun (chilly, but whatever), with a bunch of kids, going on a tromp through the woods to the nature house, climbing trees, roasting hot dogs, these are the simple pleasures that make life worthwhile.
I am grateful for time spent with Coop on the floor playing lego. We made a Trammel of Archimedes. It was fun!
I am grateful for bedtime with Farl, reading a book, and laying there with him until I could tell by his breathing that he was asleep.
