I am grateful for Hallowe’en. From childhood to teenagehood to adulthood and now parenthood, it’s been fun in many different ways. These days, I especially enjoy the community aspect of it; it’s not often that it’s okay just to knock on random neighbours doors, but on hallowe’en it is, and it’s nice to catch up and meet folks, and to take their free candy!
I am grateful for that crazy big old car. I still don’t get how that thing should fit into my life, but it’s fun on the odd occasion when I drive it.
I am grateful for LED candles. Not as nice as the real thing, I know, but pretty darn easy and worry free around kids.
