Central Park, 30″ by 30″, Acrylic on Canvas
I often walk through Central Park in the morning. There’s a public swimming pool, athletic fields, and a play structure there, and in the middle, a row of several very tall maple trees. This painting is based on a photo shot straight up – the leaves at the top were still green, and they cascaded through oranges, reds, yellows and browns as they were closer to the ground.
