I am grateful for lunch with Julie, at the Sour Pickle Cafe, where I haven’t been for a long time but used to go to regularly back when I had an office in Fan Tan Alley, which really doesn’t feel like as long ago as it actually was.
I am grateful for some time spent in the studio today.
I am not grateful for the mishap that ended in a hole through the canvas I was working on, but I am grateful that I wasn’t that far along in that painting. I was able to re-start the same image on a new canvas today, so that felt like the right thing to do.
I am grateful for some time spent with Farley and Cooper at Farley’s baseball practise tonight. There was a parents vs. kids game, and that was fun. Farley got a certificate for fastest base runner, and Coop, not even an official member of the team, received a certificate for being a fan and announcing the batters at the games. That was a proud Dad moment, right there.
