I am grateful for thanksgiving, because in case you hadn’t noticed, I am all about the gratitude.

I am grateful I was able to repair our oven, which went on the fritz last night around 10pm, while Julie was baking the pumpkin pies, so that today, when we were going to be making the turkey and the rest of the dinner for 7, it wouldn’t be so stressful. Phew! In other news, we’re now in the market for a new oven…

I am grateful for the gratitude tree that  graces our front hallway. Julie and the boys made it this morning.

And I’m grateful for thanksgiving dinner with friends. Particularly, for the Brussels sprouts. Is it wrong that one thing I love about them is that no one else likes them? No need for family holdback on the Brussels sprouts!
