I am grateful for family fun night. It was Cooper’s turn to choose the festivities. We had dinner at Swiss Chalet and then biked on the Galloping Goose to Mr. Tubbs, an ice cream parlour that has a bunch of those old skee-ball type games of chance that reward you with tickets you can then exchange for crappy plastic toys and candy. It’s a great way to teach kids just how fun gambling can be. In all honesty, I do feel weird about that, but the fact is it really is a lot of fun, and those old mechanical arcade games are just so dang cool.
