The Lego event in Vancouver was awesome. There was a pile of Lego so big you could bury yourself in it. You could build a Lego car and race it against other Lego cars. There was Lego of all stripes, and nana and pop and uncle Drew were there, too. We came hoping our kids would enjoy it. They did, and so did the rest of us.
I am grateful for my brother in law. He loves the crap out of my kids.
I am grateful for the familiar hospitality of my parents in law. They’ve opened their home to me since day one. I’ve always felt welcome there.
I’m grateful for nice views on the ferry home.
I am grateful for the feeling of elation I always get driving off the ramp of the ferry and onto our island. It’s nice to travel, but it’s also nice to come home.
