I am grateful for Coop, who told me he stood up to a kid who was picking on a younger friend of Farley’s who was attending the same summer camp. I asked him what he said, exactly. “I would appreciate it if you didn’t bully my brother’s best friend,” was his reply. I was so cussing proud it brought a tear to my eye.
I am grateful for Farley. We made a race car from some spare pieces of wood lying around. It was fun. Also, when I dropped a bottle of ibuprofen all over the bathroom floor, he totally stepped up to help me pick them back up.
My kids are awesome.
